Five-Star 2025 Wide Receiver Jaime Ffrench Recaps Visit To FSU Football
With the off-season in full swing, the Florida State Seminoles begin to plan out the future of the program and it all starts with the 2025 recruiting class. On Saturday, FSU hosted some of the nation's top recruits for junior day, where some of the major targets were able to meet with coaches, players, and staff, as well as get a chance to see campus and the facilities.
One of the recruits was wide receiver Jaime Ffrench from Jacksonville, FL. The junior receiver from Mandarin High School was previously committed to the University of Alabama, however, he announced he would be reopening his recruitment following Nick Saban's retirement. Following his eighth trip to Tallahassee, Ffrench was able to speak to NoleGameday and recap his first visit since reopening his recruitment.
South Carolina Head Coach Says FSU Football Transfer's Return Makes Statement About Program
"I really enjoyed it, I came out yesterday a little early, I came out to get a little feel around campus a little more, you know. Every time I get out here at Florida State it's always just a good time," Ffrench said.
Although Ffrench had previously shown interest in FSU before his commitment to the Crimson Tide, he admitted that all signs point to Tallahassee as one of his current teammates is currently committed to FSU as the future signal caller.
"Man, you know it's only two hours up the street, and also they have my quarterback Tramell Jones committed right now so it's just hard to say no right now. the recruitment, they're just pushing real hard right now," Ffrench said.
With just under a year until early signing day for the class of 2025, Ffrench still has plenty of time to evaluate his options before committing to a school. With that being said, Ffrench listed Florida State in his top three schools along with Ohio State and Alabama. However, he admitted that one school has taken the lead in his recruitment.
"I would say Florida State, definitely Florida State," Ffrench said. "The tradition, the chemistry, the program, the people in the program, all that plays a factor in recruitment, especially how they put the ball in the air.
