Florida State Holds Second Highest Odds to Make College Football Playoff
The third week of the College Football Rankings is underway, and the Florida State Seminoles are holding steady at No. 4. There were minor shifts in the top-5, with Georgia passing Ohio State for the No. 1 seed.
ESPN released their odds during the broadcast of which team will end up in the final four when all is said and done, and Florida State holds the No. 2 spot with a 65% chance of getting in. In the eyes of ESPN, No. 3 Michigan is a lock to play at the end of December, slightly edging out FSU at 67%. Ohio State came in at 3rd (64%) and Georgia at No. 4 with a little over 50%.
There is still a lot of football to be played before the top teams collide post-season. Michigan and Ohio State are set to play each other next weekend, and conference championships could sway the committee's eyes in the coming weeks.
