Florida State Seminoles Release Uniform Combination for Home Matchup Against Virginia Tech Hokies

The Seminoles are finally repeating a uniform combination for the first time this season.

Florida State is finally back against an actual opponent after a well-timed week off. The Seminoles will return to Doak Campbell Stadium for the second time this season to face off with the Virginia Tech Hokies in an ACC matchup. Head coach Mike Norvell has guided his team to a 4-0 start but is looking for more as the team begins its October slate.

The Seminoles haven't matched up with the Hokies since 2018 but every Florida State fan remembers how that night unfolded. This time around, FSU is a massive favorite on paper and is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball while Virginia Tech is beginning to find some momentum after taking down Pittsburgh last week.

Ahead of the matchup with the Hokies, Florida State took the field in a familiar set of colors. The Seminoles will repeat a combination for the first time this season as they'll be wearing their traditional home uniforms - gold helmets, garnet jerseys, and gold pants - after experimenting with different looks over the opening month of the season.

Florida State and Virginia Tech will kick off at 3:30 p.m. with Mark Jones, Louis Riddick, and Quint Kessenich on the call.

Here's a look at what the team has worn game by game this year:

LSU: Traditional home uniforms - gold helmets, garnet jerseys, and gold pants

Southern Miss: Alternate home uniforms - gold helmets, garnet jerseys, and garnet pants

Boston College: Alternate away uniforms - white helmets, garnet jerseys, and white pants

Clemson: Alternate away uniforms - gold helmets, white jerseys, and garnet pants
