Florida State vs. Syracuse: Pre-Game Injury Updates For The Seminoles And The Orange

Who will be available for the Seminoles and Orange ahead of kickoff?

Kickoff is closing in for Florida State's ACC matchup against the Syracuse Orange in Doak Campbell Stadium. The Seminoles are expected to have Bobby Bowden Stadium rocking despite the early start.

FSU remains undefeated at the halfway point of the regular season despite lulls over each of the last three games. It'll be important for the Seminoles to start fast and bury an overmatched Syracuse team and not give them any life in Tallahassee.

Ahead of the contest, there are a couple of players to watch for the Seminoles. According to a report from ESPN, star wide receiver Johnny Wilson will miss the contest while offensive tackle Bless Harris is a game-time decision. Offensive tackle Robert Scott, linebacker Tatum Bethune, and tight end Jaheim Bell are expected to play after being limited last week.

NoleGameday will be keeping an eye on the players mentioned above and more to determine who is available to play on Saturday. Follow along below for updates before the Seminoles kick off against the Orange.

— The quarterbacks take the field and true freshman Brock Glenn is not among them despite beginning to throw more in practice as of late.

— Ja'Khi Douglas and Deuce Spann are warming up for the returners. Both players were back in the lineup against Virginia Tech after dealing with different ailments. Douglas was injured in the preseason while Spann was dealing with an illness.

— Tight end Jaheim Bell is fully dressed out and warming up. Cornerback Kevin Knowles is doing the same after wearing a green jersey in practice over the week.

— Linebacker Tatum Bethune, offensive tackle Bless Harris, and offensive tackle Robert Scott are all dressed out and warming up.

— Wide receiver Kentron Poitier is warming up. He has a sleeve on his left leg but was working as a starter. Poitier will likely man Johnny Wilson's spot in the lineup.

— Despite Robert Scott and Bless Harris dressing out, they are not among FSU's starting five in pregame. It looks like the offensive line will be; LT Darius Washington, LG Casey Roddick, C Maurice Smith, RG D'Mitri Emmanuel, and RT Jeremiah Byers.

— Wide receiver Johnny Wilson has not been spotted during pregame.

— Defensive tackle Darrell Jackson is not dressed out as usual as he waits to regain eligibility.

— Aaron Hester, Lucas Simmons, Lamont Green Jr, KJ Kirkland, Ja'Bril Rawls, and Jerrale Powers are all in street clothes.
