Offensive Tackle Daughtry Richardson entered the portal earlier this month and announced on Sunday that he will be taking his talents to Florida Atlantic University.
Richardson spent two seasons with the Seminoles after signing with the Seminoles as a 3-star prospect in the 2022 class. He saw playing time as a freshman in Florida State's 47-7 win over Duquesne and action in the 49-17 win over Louisiana before taking a redshirt for the 2022 season. His second appearance for the 'Noles was in 2023 in FSU's 66-13 win over Southern Miss, but he spent most of his time in Tallahassee working with the scout team. In his two games, he played 14 snaps with his highest pass-blocking grade per PFF of 72.1 against Duquesne.
The 6-foot-5, 316-pound redshirt freshman out of Miami, FL, is one of fifteen former FSU players to enter the portal this cycle, with the most recent additions being linebacker DJ Lundy, runningback Rodney Hill, and defensive lineman Malcolm Ray.
