FSU Defensive End Transfer partners up with The Battle's End

More moves in the NIL space for The Battle's End Collective.

Business is booming for NIL Collective 'The Battle's End' after joining the Florida State space in December. Over the last two months, TBE has cemented itself as the standard in the market and is in the process of locking down deals with a plethora of members of the football team.

Seminoles such as Jared Verse, Fabien Lovett, Johnny Wilson, and many others have already partnered with the collective. Since the beginning of the year, The Battle's End has seemingly made it a priority to add talented true freshmen and productive transfers to their ranks.

On Friday morning, defensive end transfer Gilber Edmond became the latest player to publicly agree to a deal with TBE. Other transfers such as tight end Jaheim Bell, defensive lineman Darrell Jackson, defensive lineman Braden Fiske, and cornerback Fentrell Cypress II have previously joined forces with the collective, led by CEO Ingram Smith.

The Florida native announced his decision to transfer to Florida State last month after beginning his college career at South Carolina. The Seminoles secured his services over multiple other programs including Florida and South Carolina.

Edmonds played 654 snaps in 2022, gaining valuable experience in one of the top conferences in the country and showing plenty of promise in the process. He finished the year with 39 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and two sacks while appearing in 12 games, with 10 starts. In total, he appeared in 21 games, recording 44 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks in three years with the Gamecocks.

Despite Jared Verse returning to Florida State for another year, there's a spot in the rotation for Edmond to take with veteran Leonard Warner moving on. He stands at 6-foot-4, 250-pound and gives the Seminoles a likely top-4 of Verse, Edmond, Derrick McLendon, and Patrick Payton.
