FSU Football Preps for Garnet & Gold Spring Showcase with All-Star Coaching Lineup

Former national champions and NFL players set to coach FSU Football's upcoming Spring Showcase, highlighting returning stars and potential standouts.

Florida State University has announced its coaching staff for the upcoming Spring Showcase exhibition game on April 15, and it's clear that the Seminoles are bringing out the big guns. The star-studded coaching staff includes former national champions and NFL players, such as Karlos Williams Sr., PJ Williams, Charlie Ward, and Henri Crockett.

This isn't the first time that FSU has tapped into its network of successful alumni to bolster its coaching staff for the Spring Showcase game. Last year, former Seminole players EJ Manuel, Danny Kanell, Bryant McFadden, and Peter Boulware served as guest coaches during the game, which featured a strong showing from both the offense and defense that would go on to secure a 10-3 (5-3 ACC) season and a Cheez-It Bowl victory over the Oklahoma Sooners.

"It's a win for 2013," Williams Sr. said regarding himself and safety PJ Williams who both were able to hoist the crystal trophy in Pasadena, CA the last time the Seminoles won it all.

With the start of the new football season quickly approaching, the Florida State Seminoles are looking to make a big impact on the field.

The team is poised to field a strong roster, featuring future Heisman candidate quarterback Jordan Travis, who helped lead the 'Noles to a top-10 finish last season. Additionally, the team boasts an impressive lineup of defensive players, including Jared Verse and Fabien Lovett on the front line, and a talented secondary with a mix of experienced veterans and up-and-coming stars. With high expectations for the upcoming season, fans are eagerly anticipating what this team will accomplish on the field.
