The 'Noles are healthy coming off their second scrimmage and a two-day break and matched a game-like intensity as they charged on through practice sixteen.

"I thought today was good practice. I really like the mentality with which the guys came out," head coach Mike Norvell said to the media after practice. "We had kind of a modified day a little bit. We spent the last fifteen minutes getting the introduction into LSU just some of the structures, formations, different things that we wanted to give a glimpse of tomorrow we'll get a little more into that but today it was just about the speed."

The 2023 season has everyone's attention as the Seminoles boast a talented roster that returns nearly 85% of its production from a year ago and a Heisman candidate in quarterback Jordan Travis. Travis has had spring and fall camp to build chemistry with some of the top transfers from the offseason and Norvell said that it is starting to show.

"I thought Jordan had an exceptional day, he's been great all camp but you're seeing his confidence continuing to grow. You see the development with the relationships with the receivers, the timing the location, all those things are continuing to get better."

The 'Noles have been firing on all cylinders this offseason and both the offense and defense have shown production throughout fall camp. The chemistry, Norvell says is constantly being developed.

"It's repetition. It doesn't matter how many games you've played or the number of practices. As you build upon your experiences, every play is unique to itself. But when you have a better understanding of where the receiver's going to be—people talk about chemistry—chemistry doesn't happen because you want it to. It's something that's gotta be earned; it's gotta be developed. And I think our guys have done a great job with that, investing the time, and you see those reps start to show up."

Mike Norvell goes over the freshmen wide receivers, how they're preparing for opponents in the NCAA Transfer Portal era, Winston Wright, Jr.'s progression, and more in his full interview below.
