How Did College GameDay Pick Florida State vs. Duke?

The undefeated Florida State Seminoles host the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday. Who does College GameDay think will win?

The Florida State Seminoles take on the Duke Blue Devils as they look to remain undefeated. Though the Seminoles are 14-point favorites in this one, both teams have yet to lose in conference play, and the Blue Devils are a solid defensive team.

This one will be a battle for both squads involved, and the Seminoles will have to find a way to get in rhythm offensively, which should be made easy with an active Johnny Wilson, adding an additional target for Jordan Travis.

Something that makes this game hard to predict is Duke's quarterback Riley Leonard is a game-time decision with an ankle injury. With the way Duke plays, their defense will really have to show up if they want to compete in this game without Leonard.

Also for Florida State, getting Wilson, Keon Coleman, and Jaheim Bell active in the passing game will be incredibly important as the Seminoles offense tries to get going.

It'll be interesting to see what Florida State's offense looks like. If they can't get in rhythm or consistently finish drives, Duke will be able to play their way right into this game.

Here is how the ESPN College GameDay crew picked Florida State vs. Duke.

Desmond Howard: FSU

Rece Davis: FSU

CJ Stroud: FSU

Pat McAfee: FSU

Howard thinks the game will be a close game, but ultimately takes the Seminoles to win. McAfee believes the Seminoles' run defense will be the key. Overall, the Seminoles took all of the picks as the panel thinks the Seminoles will play a complete game to come away with a win.

CJ Stroud, former Ohio State and current Houston Texans quarterback also picked the Seminoles, while lobbing a compliment to Keon Coleman.

"I like Keon Coleman. He's a beast," Stroud said.

Kirk Herbstreit didn't make a pick since he will call the game alongside Chris Fowler on Saturday night.

Florida State and Duke will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and the game will be televised on ABC.
