NoleGameday Staff Score Predictions: Florida State Seminoles At Boston College Eagles

The Eagles will still be breaking in sophomore quarterback and UCF transfer Thomas Castellanos, who has thrown for 339 yards and four touchdowns in his last two appearances. The matchup marks the Eagles' annual "Bandanna Game" in memory of former Boston College lacrosse player Welles Crowther, who died while rescuing others in the World Trade Center tragedy on 9/11.

There will be turbulent weather in Chestnut Hill as Hurricane Lee looms in the Atlantic and is scheduled to be off the coast of Boston around 8 a.m. on Saturday.

FSU Heisman candidate quarterback Jordan Travis will be heading into the matchup surrounded with a star-studded cast in running back Trey Benson (126 yards, three TDs) and wide receivers Johnny Wilson (104 yards) and Keon Coleman (170 yards, four TDs). Travis has  517 yards passing and six touchdowns, with another 58 yards on the ground and a score this season.

Florida State will be looking for its third win in 2023 and to keep all eyes, including those of the College Football Playoff Selection Committee, on them as they continue the charge for a conference title and second playoff berth.
