How to Watch Florida State vs. Wake Forest: Kickoff Time, TV Channel, and Odds

The Seminoles conclude October on the road in front of another national audience.

Just a little past the midseason mark, No. 4 Florida State (7-0, 5-0 ACC) is set to go on the road this Saturday when the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (4-3, 1-3 ACC) host the 'Noles for the 41st time in series history.

Wake has the home advantage but will have to deal with one of the top red zone teams in offense and defense. Florida State ranks 6th nationally in scoring offense, converting 96.4% of its trips in enemy territory into points. On the other side of the ball, the defense ranks 12th in the country, allowing points on 69.2% of possessions with their backs against the wall, and leads the ACC in scoring defense.

Led by quarterback Jordan Travis, Florida State has scored 30 or more points in its last thirteen matchups and is on track for another record season. Travis broke former FSU star and National Champion Chris Weinke's overall offense record last weekend in Florida State's 38-20 win over No. 16 Duke.

"This is an outstanding football team we're playing this week. Florida State, they're undefeated, they look like the Florida State of old when we first got here," Wake Forest head coach David Clawson said about facing the Seminoles.

The Demon Deacons have won the last three matchups against the Seminoles and perfected their trademark "slow-mesh" offense under previous quarterback Sam Hartman, who has since moved to Notre Dame.

Wake's current quarterback situation remains in question with Mitch Griffis being "day-to-day," although Clawson said "there's a chance" that Griffis and Santino Marucci will play on Saturday. Griffis has 1,211 yards and nine touchdowns to six interceptions on the season with a 33.6 quarterback rating per ESPN.com. Marucci has 154 yards, one score, and two interceptions, bringing in a QBR of 57.5.
