Kickoff Time, TV Info Announced For Florida State's Regular-Season Finale Against Florida
Seven undefeated teams remain in the FBS after the first eleven weeks of what has been a wild college football season. While many top teams around the country have been caught sleeping at certain points of the year, Florida State dodged upset bids against Pittsburgh and Miami over the last two weekends to remain unscathed.
The Seminoles will wrap up their slate of home games inside Doak Campbell Stadium with the finale against North Alabama. That will be the last time that players such as quarterback Jordan Travis, defensive tackle Fabien Lovett, linebacker Kalen DeLoach, and cornerback Renardo Green, among others, have an opportunity to shine on Bobby Bowden Field.
Following the matchup against the Lions, Florida State will finish a stretch of two rivalry matchups in three games as the team will travel to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators. On Monday, the ACC announced game times and television information for contests that will take place during the weekend of Saturday, November 25. According to the Atlantic Coast Conference, the game between the Seminoles and Gators will kick off at 7:00 p.m. and be televised on ESPN.
This will be Florida State's second appearance on ESPN. The Seminoles have previously played on ABC (eight times), the ACC Network (once), and The CW Network (this weekend).
Despite taking down Florida in Tallahassee last year, this is still a revenge game for the Seminoles. The last time FSU played the Gators on the road, the team came up short against an interim head coach and were held out of the postseason. It's possible that UF enters the game 5-7 after dropping three consecutive games with a road contest coming up against Missouri.
Transfer quarterback Graham Mertz has done a good job of taking care of the ball. He's completed 247/337 passes for 2,720 yards with 18 touchdowns to two interceptions. With that being said, he has been sacked 30 times in ten games.
The Gators will travel to Missouri this weekend to conclude their SEC slate. The game will kick off 7:30 p.m. and be televised on ESPN.
