Florida State To Honor 16 Seminoles During Senior Day Ceremony
Florida State's sold-out home finale against North Alabama will mark more than just the final game in Doak Campbell Stadium of the 2023 season. The Seminoles will also be celebrating the players who will be moving on after the year as part of Senior Day when the Lions travel to Tallahassee.
As of now, 16 Seminoles are expected to be honored by the program on Saturday. The majority of the list includes seniors who have made a big impact at Florida State, including quarterback Jordan Travis, offensive lineman D'Mitri Emmanuel, defensive tackle Fabien Lovett, linebacker Kalen DeLoach, and defensive back Renardo Green, among numerous others.

With that being said, there are a couple of underclassmen on the list such as redshirt junior defensive end Jared Verse, redshirt junior offensive lineman Jeremiah Byers, and redshirt junior Thomas Schrader. Verse and Byers are potential candidates to make the leap to the professional level.
One name that is not among the group is redshirt senior offensive lineman Bless Harris, who missed the majority of the 2022 campaign with an injury. He's a possible waiver candidate for another season of eligibility like Emmanuel received over the offseason.
It's important to note that participation or non-participation in Senior Day does not necessarily indicate anything for the players who have eligibility remaining after this season.
