Former FSU Football Star Takes Top-30 Visit With Las Vegas Raiders
Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske saw his draft stock skyrocket after he dominated the 2024 NFL Combine, finishing first in the 40-yard dash (4.78), broad jump (9'9''), vertical jump (33.50''), and tied for first in the 20-yard shuttle (4.37) among his position.

With multiple Seminoles taking top-30 visits ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, Fiske has had his fair share of interest from teams looking to bolster their defensive front. One of the teams that is eyeing the Michigan City, IN native is the Las Vegas Raiders, who reportedly hosted the 6'4'', 292-pound lineman for a top 30 visit.
Fiske transferred to Florida State after spending five seasons at Western Michigan. He amassed 43 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and six sacks during his lone season in Tallahassee.
"The one that stands out to me the most is the Raiders," Fiske said of the Raiders' showing interest in him. "That's because Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins are over there and just the style of play that the Raiders have with coach Antonio Pierce. They get after it on defense and they play with a different type of culture. It fits a lot of the way I play. If I could just add to that, playing next to guys like Crosby and Wilkins, they both fly to the ball and that's a big part of my game."
Fiske would add another big body up front for the Raiders playing alongside Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins. He would also be joining former Seminole Janarius Robinson who was signed to the Raiders' active roster in December 2023.
The 2024 NFL Draft is set to take place from April 25-27 and starts at 12:00 p.m.
