Former FSU Football Legend Jameis Winston Bids Farewell to New Orleans Saints
Former Florida State star quarterback and National Champion Jameis Winston has had an interesting career in the NFL after being drafted No. 1 overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2015 NFL Draft. After a rocky ending with the Bucs, he was picked up by the New Orleans Saints, where he spent four years primarily as a backup to Drew Brees and Derek Carr.
The Pro Bowler is now on the move again. He recently signed a one-year $8.7M free-agency deal with the Cleveland Browns and is expected to serve as a backup to Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.

It doesn't appear that Winston has any resentment for the Saints or the City of New Orleans, as he recently shared a video on Twitter thanking the organization and the city.
In the video, Winston read aloud:
The Super Dome is the birthplace of my first NFL win,
So saying farewell I don't know where to begin.
I'll start with expressing gratitude and thanks to all of Who Dat Nation, the Saints Organization, and especially Mrs. B!
I am grateful for all my teammates, coaches, trainers, the entire Saints support staff & honestly, the whole city.
I'm grateful for the festivals, Mardi Gras, second lines, great music, world class chefs and witnessing the NOLA culture shine!
I'm grateful for the love, encouragement, perseverance and real people who embraced this little light of mine.
I love you New Orleans, through and through.
Trust and believe that y'all haven't seen the last of Jaboo.
Winston appeared in 21 games for the Saints starting in seven before various injuries sidelined him. All in all, he threw for 2,367 yards and accounted for 21 touchdowns during his time in the Crescent City.
