Known for continuing to show the Seminoles love despite his growth into NFL stardom, Ramsey drew attention to the feat on social media.
"Top rated corner & top rated safety in [Madden 24] ... Ikno [FSU Football] gotta be proud of me n [Derwin James]!"
Ramsey's message received responses from Mike Norvell, Kam Davis, and plenty of other notable figures. However, former FSU quarterback JJ Cosentino posted a hilariously self-deprecating comment regarding the two All-Pro defensive backs that'll draw a chuckle from fans.
"I helped them get so good at interceptions in 2015! I threw a lottt of them to both in practice. Daily. #TeamPlayer"
Cosentino was with the program from 2014-18 and spent most of his time as a reserve outside of being forced into a significant role during Florida State's loss in the Peach Bowl in 2015. He finished his college career by completing 15/30 passes for 104 yards and two passing touchdowns and zero interceptions. Cosentino departed from the team prior to Willie Taggart's first season in Tallahassee.
Ramsey is entering his eighth year in the NFL after being traded to the Miami Dolphins. He was a member of the 2013 National Championship team at Florida State and totaled 181 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, 22 pass deflections, and three interceptions in Tallahassee.
James has spent all five of his season in the league with the Los Angeles Chargers. He played alongside Ramsey for two years with the Seminoles while totaling 186 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, 15 pass deflections, and three interceptions in garnet and gold.
