Elite Running Back Includes FSU Football In Top-Five List
Florida State is working on building a foundation to fill out one of the top classes in the 2025 recruiting cycle. Mid-way through March, the Seminoles hold four commitments and are looking to add to that haul throughout the spring.
Four-star running back Alvin Henderson has teased a potential decision in the near future. He appears to be getting close to pulling the trigger after cutting his recruitment down to five on Friday. Moving forward, Henderson will be focused on FSU, Miami, Oregon, Auburn, and Penn State.

It appears to be a two-team race between the Seminoles and Hurricanes at this point in time. He visited both programs in a week span back at the end of January and the beginning of February.
During a previous trip to Tallahassee, Henderson went into detail about some of the aspects that make Florida State stand out. The coaches are always straight up with him and he enjoys the close atmosphere around the program.
"Florida State. Most definitely sitting high on my list right now," Henderson said to NoleGameday previously. "Every time I come down here, all of the coaches keep it real. It's like a family-type thing. Everybody accepts me here."
The Alabama native rushed 225 times for 3,523 yards (15.7 YPC) and 61 touchdowns on the ground. He also added three kickoff return touchdowns, a pair of punt returns for scores, one passing touchdown, and a receiving touchdown. Henderson led the country with 68 total touchdowns. There's no doubt he's a star on the field but that's not the only reason head coach Mike Norvell and the Seminoles are recruiting him.
"He [Norvell] was pretty much telling me that he's not just recruiting me because of what I can do on the field, he's recruiting me because he knows where my heart is," Henderson said previously. "He was telling me how when he watches my film, he sees what I do after a score, like how I go to my teammates and celebrate with them."
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound running back is regarded as the No. 94 overall prospect, the No. 8 RB, and the No. 10 recruit in the state of Alabama in the 2025 class according to 247Sports.
