The Bell Cow has been doing his part to build #Tribe24 into a special class.

Time is flying and the calendar is quickly approaching the one-year anniversary of four-star quarterback Luke Kromenhoek's commitment to Florida State. The rising senior and his family returned to Tallahassee for a multiday visit over the weekend to attend the Seminole Legacy recruiting.

On this trip, Kromenhoek was focused on recruiting other players to join him in #Tribe24. He spoke to high-profile targets such as five-star cornerback Charles Lester II, four-star wide receiver BJ Gibson, and four-star offensive lineman Jason Zandamela.

"A ton, a ton. That was pretty much the whole reason I was here," Kromenhoek said to NoleGameday's Dustin Lewis. "Trying to get some of those dudes to finally call it a day and commit. I felt good about a couple of guys so we'll see how it guys."

"It was awesome, it was a great experience," Kromenhoek continued. "A lot of high recruits were here. I got to make some great relationships, meet some new people, and also just further my relationships with the coaching staff."

Coming out of the weekend, Kromenhoek recognizes the ongoing shift in the landscape as top recruits in the country flock to Florida State. In his words, everybody should want to be a part of what's going on in Tallahassee.

"I feel like every recruit is kind of realizing that they're on the rise again, FSU's back to being one of the top programs," Kromenhoek said. "Everybody kind of wants to be here now. It's awesome to be recruited here and I'm sure it's awesome for those guys but I mean, FSU's going back to the top and it's something that everybody should want to be a part of."

Through the middle of March, the Seminoles have compiled nine verbal commitments and hold the No. 4 2024 recruiting class in the country. Kromenhoek believes this group could be something special.

"Tribe24, it's going to be awesome man. I'm really excited for where we're going and what's happening," Kromenhoek said. "I really do think that we can be a top-3, if not higher, class in the nation. That's the plan and that's what we're going to try and get to."

The visit began on Friday as Kromenhoek arrived to watch Florida State's first practice in pads of the spring. The energy in practice caught his attention out of the gate.

"I just felt like the energy in practice was unbelievable and I also felt like they didn't waste a single second standing around or doing anything," Kromenhoek said. "Every second was accounted for and I think that's awesome, I think that's a great way to practice. The energy that they have, it really seems like they're working towards a goal this year, and where they want to be, that's what they're going to have to do."

While he was on the sidelines watching the session, the Georgia native was shuttled around by the coaching staff to talk to a ton of different people. One of those faces happened to be former Florida State star and Heisman winner, Jameis Winston.

"It was awesome. Jameis is a class act, I got to chat with him for a little bit. He's just an awesome dude, I totally did not expect him to be like that coming into it," Kromenhoek said. "And then getting to chat with him and see how much he cares about this program, he's just an awesome dude and a great character."

Five-Star running back commit Kam Davis and Kromenhoek have quickly developed into the faces of the recruiting class. Davis talked about shutting down his recruitment over the weekend.

"We spent a whole bunch of time," Kromenhoek said. "We had a meeting on Friday with coach Norvell, just us two and our families. Just to have him, such a highly recruited dude and a great athlete and a huge part of this 2024 class to say he's going to shut it down, it's big time."

On Saturday, Kromenhoek and the other recruits on campus were able to watch Jermaine Johnson have a brick unveiled in his honor for being named an All-American while he was at Florida State.

"That was awesome. That's a great honor for him and it's a dream come true for him," Kromenhoek said. "Just to see where he came from and all that he's done, it's unbelievable. It's also a great tradition and hopefully, I'll be there one day."

Kromenhoek will return to FSU for the Garnet & Gold Showcase on April 15. He's looking at taking his official visit other the summer and wants to be on campus when Kam Davis and other campus take their trips.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound quarterback is regarded as the No. 94 overall prospect, the No. 8 QB, and the No. 17 recruit in the state of Georgia in the 2024 class according to 247Sports.
