FSU Football Makes Cut For Blue-Chip Wide Receiver Ahead Of Spring Commitment
Action on the recruiting trail is expected to pick up at Florida State as spring begins to arrive in Tallahassee. The Seminoles hold the No. 15 class in the country early in March but that number could rise in the near future.
On Wednesday evening, four-star wide receiver Koby Howard announced plans to commit at the end of the month while narrowing down his recruitment in the process. Howard will be focusing on FSU, Miami, Florida, LSU, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Missouri leading up to his decision on March 31.

The Seminoles have been pursuing Howard since offering him his first scholarship over two years ago. He's built a relationship with head coach Mike Norvell and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans throughout the process.
"I really like how the coaches try to build a really good relationship with the players," Howard said to NoleGameday previously.
Howard was most recently in Tallahassee in early February for a junior day visit. He took trips to Notre and Miami during the 2023 season. Howard paid close attention to the Seminoles and was impressed by the win over Florida late in the year.
The Florida native bounced back last year after a leg injury kept him off the field for the majority of his sophomore season. Howard caught 65 passes for 1,065 yards with eight touchdowns and rushed 26 times for 224 yards and four more scores. He transferred to Chaminade-Madonna to play out his final season at the prep level.
Howard also runs track where posted some impressive times last spring. He recorded an 11.71-second 100-meter dash and a 23.47-second 200-meter dash. That's even more proof that his previous injury is behind him.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound wide receiver is regarded as the No. 314 overall prospect, the No. 40 WR, and the No. 45 recruit in the state of Florida in the 2025 class according to 247Sports.
