WATCH LIVE: Five-Star DB Commit KJ Bolden Set To Sign Between FSU, Auburn, And Georgia

The Seminoles hope to hold on to the No. 1 safety prospect in the country.

Florida State five-star pledge KJ Bolden is expected to commit to FSU on Wednesday, December 20, at 1:00 p.m. inside Buford High School in Buford, GA. Listed as the top-ranked safety in the country and the 14th player nationally per 247Sports, Bolden would be Mike Norvell's highest-ranked signing during his time as head coach at Florida State.

FSU fans are still sore from when five-star defensive back Travis Hunter flipped his commitment from the Seminoles in 2021 to Jackson State, and late pushes from Georgia and Auburn for Bolden seem to have everyone on edge.

Bolden put those worries to rest last Sunday in an interview during his last official visit to Florida State, stating that he wouldn't be visiting Auburn.

"Nah, I'm not doing that," Bolden said to NoleGameday over the weekend.

While concluding his official visit, Bolden seemed ready to sign, telling reporters that he already had his National Letter of Intent. He was adamant that he would join Tribe24 on Wednesday.

"Come on, man, you know that. So, like, can't really speak too much on that. I just got my papers today, though."

During his senior season, Bolden recorded 33 tackles, 18 solo, and ranked first in the nation in interceptions with four according to MaxPreps.com. As versatile of a player as he is, he could play on both sides of the ball but is expected to settle in

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound defensive back is regarded as the No. 14 overall prospect, the No. 1 S, and the No. 2 recruit in the state of Georgia in the 2024 class according to 247Sports.
