Biggest Questions for Georgia to Answer During 2024 Spring Practice

With spring practice less than a week away, here are some of the biggest questions the Bulldogs will need to answer.

All across the country, numerous teams will begin preparations for the upcoming 2024 college football season as they begin their spring practices. For many teams, spring practice serves as a time for coaches and players to gather an understanding of what the roster will look like come the regular season, as well as begin to answer any off-season questions.

The Georgia Bulldogs are among the many teams that have questions to answer, as they have had a slew of coaching changes, additions from the transfer portal, and departures to the NFL Draft. With spring practice quickly approaching, here are some of the Bulldogs' biggest questions as they prepare for the 2024 season.

Who Will Be the Bulldogs' Starting Cornerback?

The cornerback position is one of the most essential positions to any defensive scheme but it is especially important to the Bulldogs' 4-2-5 style defense in particular. And for the first time in quite some time, there is not a clear-cut starter at either side of the position. A handful of spring practices will likely produce at least one frontrunner in a room that is full of highly talented players.

What Effect Are the New Coaches Having on the Team?

The coaching carousel led to a plethora of new position coaches for Kirby Smart's staff this season. Spring practice will serve as many of those coach's first opportunities to work with their players in a practice setting.

How are the New Offensive Additions Adjusting?

The Bulldogs added a handful of talented players from the transfer to their offense this offseason. How those players adjust to their new team and grasp the Bulldogs' offensive concepts will be a major indication of what the team's roster will look like at the start of the season.

As spring practice begins, clarity surrounding these questions will likely become more and more abundant. However, it likely won't be until the 2024 season begins that we have definitive answers.
