Georgia Football: Bold Predictions for G-Day
G-Day is Saturday and Georgia fans are fired up to see their team in action. The Bulldogs will have plenty of talent on display when they hit the field.
Georgia football will host its annual G-Day spring game this Saturday (April 13th) at 1:00 p.m. between the hedges in Sanford Stadium. It will be fans' first chance to see the Bulldogs in action since the team's Orange Bowl win over Florida State back in December.
Predictions for G-Day
Roderick Robinson has a big day. Scrimmages are fun, especially in front of thousands of fans, but there's just not the same bite when you're playing your teammates. One teammate in particular will be giving Georgia players headaches on Saturday: Roderick Robinson. The 240 lb sophomore is a load and he'll command a number of carries. Don't be surprised if he breaks a lot of tackles from teammates that are making business decisions when facing him in the hole.
Offensive Line Dominates. Earlier this spring, former Georgia center Ben Jones declared that this Georgia offensive line may be the best in the history of the program. They return a number of starters and other linemen with plenty of starts. Georgia's defensive line meanwhile hasn't had one player truly standout. Expect the offense to win the trenches on Saturday.
Dawg Fans Show Up. 93K Day was a huge moment for Kirby Smart. Back in 2016, the first-year head coach was trying to rally his fanbase and Georgia fans answered the call, filling Sanford Stadium for G-Day. This Saturday, there may not be 93,000 fans in the stadium, but there will be plenty. This fanbase is fired up about this season. Georgia was an SEC Championship Game loss away from playing in the College Football Playoff and this team may be even better. Georgia fans are going to show up to show their support on Saturday.
