Bulldogs Lead Volunteers 24-10 at Halftime
We are 30 minutes through Georgia's rivalry game with the Tennessee Volunteers as the Bulldogs are suffocating the Volunteers 24-10
First Quarter
It didn't take the Bulldogs long to trail, as they allowed a 75-yard touchdown run on Tennessee's first offensive play from scrimmage. The Dawgs would answer with a 42-yard field by Peyton Woodring to make the score 3-7.
Following the Bulldogs' field goal, Georgis held Tennessee to a 3-and-out. They would then score on a trick pass from Dillion Bell to Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint. Georgia would lead 10-3 at the end of the first quarter.
Second Quarter
The Vols opened the second quarter with the ball where they would eventually stall out around the 50-yard line. The Dawgs would then march down the field for another touchdown to make the score 17-7. Georgia would continue to pour it on with a Brock Bowers touchdown to extend their lead 24-7. The Vols would kick a field goal as time expired in the half.
The Bulldogs will need to continue to dominate the final 30 minutes of the game in order to finish strong against the Volunteers. We will provide updates as the second half continues.
