Talk about trading up. After spending his first four NFL seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, former Georgia wide receiver Mecole Hardman began the season with the New York Jets as one of Aaron Rogers' top wideouts. After just one week, Aaron Rogers was done for the season. After just five games, Mecole Hardman was back with the Kansas City Chiefs, a part of a trade that included two late-round picks in the 2025 Draft.

The Jets finished the season 7-10, while the Chiefs and Hardman have made their way back to their fourth Super Bowl in five seasons, and will look to pick up their third Super Bowl championship in that time. Ahead of the matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas, Hardman sat down with Kansas City station KSHB 41 to discuss the game, including where the offense's chemistry is at.

"I think we're good with that," said the fifth-year pro. "We were in a good spot. I think we still, you know, we're still working on a lot of things. You got to make sure we're not beating ourselves with like, the small things, like the penalties or whatever the case may be, like, take care of the ball. But I think we're in a good spot, we're good, think we got a little momentum going. So it'll be good to see how we do in this game."

During a two-year span at Georgia, Hardman hauled in 60 passes for 961 yards and totaled 15 touchdowns from scrimmage. He was also elite in the return game, averaging 25.2 yards per kick return and 20.1 yards per punt return, including a touchdown. Now as a veteran wideout in the NFL, he's been tasked with getting some of the younger talent on the Chiefs to perform. He was asked what's made rookie wideout Rashee Rive so special.

"Just getting the ball to him, you know what I'm saying? He making plays with it. He's doing what he's supposed to do when he gets the ball, and we will continue to feed him and he has been dynamic with it. So when you're doing all those types of things, you know, you will be successful."

Hardman will have a chance to earn his third Super Bowl ring when the Chiefs take on the 49ers on Sunday (6:30 PM ET, CBS).
