Georgia Bulldogs 2024 Football Schedule Officially Announced
The 2023 college football season has not officially come to a close just yet for some teams, as bowl games have not yet started and the college football playoff is still a few weeks out. However, that hasn't stopped the SEC from announcing its teams' schedules for the upcoming 2024 season.
The Bulldogs' schedule has been in the public eye for a while now. As the team's schedule was leaked a few weeks ago, but has now been officially confirmed.
Georgia Bulldogs 2024 Football Schedule
- Aug. 31 - vs Clemson (Atlanta, Ga.)
- Sept. 7 - vs Tennessee Tech
- Sept. 14 - @ Kentucky
- Sept. 21 - BYE
- Sept. 28 @ Alabama
- Oct. 5 - vs Auburn
- Oct. 12 - vs Mississippi State
- Oct. 19 - @ Texas
- Oct. 26 - BYE
- Nov. 2 - vs Florida (Jacksonville, Fl.)
- Nov. 9 - @ Ole Miss
- Nov. 16 - vs Tennessee
- Nov. 23 vs UMass
- Nov. 30 vs Georgia Tech
Some notable matchups for the upcoming season will be when Georgia travels to the Alabama Crimson Tide at the end of September. Another matchup of note will be Georgia's clash with Texas in Oct. The game will be the first matchup between the two teams as SEC foes, as the Longhorns are set to join the conference at the start of the 2024 season.
The Bulldogs will also face former quarterback Brock Vandagriff when they travel to Lexington to play Kentucky in week three. Vandagriff, a former 5-star spent three years with the team before joining the Wildcats via the transfer portal this offseason.
