Kirby Smart Talks Victory Over Georgia Tech
Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs finished their third straight undefeated regular season after defeating the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets by a score of 31-23. Following the game, Smart touched on his team's resiliency and mentioned how proud he was of his team. He also mentioned that the team would need to make major improvements in the coming days.
Georgia's preformance tonight was less-than-stellar. The Dawgs allowed over 200 yards on the ground and were unable to truly pull away to finish the game. Georgia safety Javon Bullard also shared his displeasure with the team's preformance.
"We can't continue to win like that if we want to go to the places we want to go to."
- Javon Bullard
The Bulldogs will travel to Atlanta once again next week to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC championship. It will be the first meeting between the two teams since the 2022 national championship. The winner of this game will likely secure a spot in this year's college football playoff.
