ATHENS-Georgia football will take on the Florida Gators for the first time ever in Atlanta, Georgia. The 6-1 Bulldogs are ranked No. 3 in the latest AP poll and the Gators are 5-2 and ranked No. 17.

The Bulldogs have won each of their last nine games against Florida and are 8-1 since 2017 in the series. Florida's star wide receiver Vernell Brown is listed as "out" for today's game. The Gators are starting quarterback Aaron Philo who missed their last game against Texas.

Georgia star defensive back KJ Bolden is listed as "questionable" for today's game.

(2:39) - The Bulldog defense forces a turnover on downs. Demello Jones and Justin Williams combined for the tackle and the Dawgs take over again.

(4:36) - The Bulldogs connect on a short 21-yard field goal to extend their lead to 19.

(6:59) - After a fumble by Georgia wide receiver Talyn Taylor, the Gators drive the field and score their first points of the game on a two-way touchdown run by quarterback Tramell Jones who also connected on a two-point converion.

(1:18) - Georgia's defense forces another Florida punt. A 50-yard Gator punt pins the Bulldogs at their own 11.

(0:29) - Right before the first half concluded the Bulldogs forced their third turnover of the ballgame. Edge defender Quintavius Johnson forced a Tramell Jones fumble that was picked up by linebacker Chris Cole who took it 66-yards back for a touchdown. His touchdown extended Georgia's lead to 24-0.

(1:55) - Running back Bo Walker powers his way into the end-zone for the second Bulldog touchdown of the game.

(8:55) - After getting great field positon after another Florida turnover, the Bulldogs settle for a field goal after two conservative Gunner Stockton runs on second and third down come up short. Woodring connects from 28-yards out to extend Georgia's lead to 10-0.

(11:10) - Aaron Philo missed high and his pass is picked off by Bulldog cornerback Demello Jones. The Bulldogs take over on the Florida 17 after another Gator penalty.

1st quarter: Florida wins the toss and defers to the second half. Georgia gets the ball first.

(0:00) - Georgia's defense comes up with a quick three-and-out. The Gators face a 4th and 10 from their own 25-yard line to start the 2nd quarter.

(1:50) - Stockton leads the Georgia offense down the field after a fresh set of downs. Bulldog running back Nate Frazier scores from one-yard away to give the Bulldogs their first points.

(4:04) - The Gators get called for a roughing the kicker penalty after a big defensive stop. The Bulldogs get another chance at points after the big Florida penalty.

(9:04) - Georgia's first drive stalls as quarterback Gunner Stockton comes up short on a 3rd-down run. Kicker Peyton Woodring misses the 43-yarder and the Bulldogs come away empty on their first offensive drive.
