Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint Impressing at the Senior Bowl
Ladd McConkey has been making plenty of noise in Mobile this week in Senior Bowl prep. The former three-star recruit out of Chatsworth, Georgia - whose only P5 offer came from Georgia - has been routinely cooking defensive backs as he did during his time in Athens. That McConkey has impressed has not been a surprise.
It's been another Georgia receiver who's opened some eyes this week with his ability to high-point the football and move through a full route tree; Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint.
The 6-foot-2 Rosemy-Jacksaint was named the Top riser of Tuesday's afternoon practice by ESPN's Jordan Reid, who was particularly impressed by Rosemy-Jacksaint's ability to go up and get the ball.
That won't surprise Georgia fans, who watched him haul in 63 catches over the past two seasons for 872 yards and 6 touchdowns in a crowded receiver room that included McConkey, now-Texas receiver Adonai Mitchell, and top-tight end prospect Brock Bowers. He showed flashes of his ability as a freshman, but a brutal ankle injury in Jacksonville that year delayed his ascension to starter, but he made the most of his final two seasons.
You can watch Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint and the rest of the Bulldogs in action at the Senior Bowl this Saturday at 1 p.m. on the NFL Network.
