Mecole Hardman Catches Game Winning Touchdown in Super Bowl LVIII

Former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Mecole Hardman catches the game-winning touchdown in Super Bowl LVIII

The Kansas City Chiefs won an overtime about over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. While many former Bulldogs turned in excellent performances, it was former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Mecole Hardman who caught the game-winning touchdown to give the Chiefs a 25-22 victory in Super Bowl LVIII.

Beginning his 2023 season with the Jets, Hardman eventually rejoined the team that drafted him and contributed in some major moments during the Chiefs postseason. Following the game, Hardman commented on his emotions about the catch during the trophy ceremony.

"Man, it feels great. I blacked out when I caught the ball though. But it feels awesome."
