Georgia football quarterback Gunner Stockton was the designated quarterback for the program's NFL pro day ahead of the NFL draft.

The Georgia football program hosted its annual pro day event ahead of the NFL draft this year for the draft-eligible players. This is an opportunity for players to showcase their talents in front of NFL coaches and GMs one last time before the draft officially arrives. Players participate in typical combine events and run through drills to highlight their strengths as a player.

The Bulldogs have also been prone to utilize this day as an opportunity for current players to get their name into the NFL draft mix prematurely, more specifically their quarterbacks. Instead of returning starter Carson Beck throwing to Georgia's wide receivers on Wednesday, Gunner Stockton was the designated quarterback. Beck did the same a couple of years back when he was working his way into the starting role for the Bulldogs.

Here is how Stockton looked at the Pro Day:

Stockton was part of the 2022 recruiting class for the Bulldogs as a four-star quarterback out of Tiger, Georgia. He served as the team's third-string quarterback during the 2023 season but has now jumped up a spot on the depth chart after Brock Vandagriff elected to transfer to Kentucky this offseason. Stockton may not be competing for the starting job during spring practice this year, but is looking to be the Bulldogs' next option at the position once Beck declares for the draft.
