Georgia Head Coach Kirby Smart Comments on Trevor Etienne Arrest
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart addressed the Media Tuesday afternoon as the Bulldogs prepare for their third week of spring practice in Athens.
The Georgia Bulldogs are set to kick off their third week of spring practice on Tuesday afternoon. Head coach Kirby Smart spoke to the media after what was a news-filled weekend off the field for the Bulldogs. With multiple commits in DT, Stephon Shivers (2025) & QB, Jared Curtis (2026), as well as a flip of former five-star commit Justus Terry (2025). It wasn't just hectic on the recruiting front either, with new addition transfer running back Trevor Etienne was arrested for DUI early Sunday morning as well.
I first want to reiterate what I said about the kid last week, he's a great kid from a great family, he's done a tremendous job since he's been here. As we all know young people don't always make great decisions. He's embarassed, he's upset, it's a teaching moment and I hope he learns from it. He will be under the in-house discpline as well as the university dicsipline.
Smart was asked about the Etienne incident on Tuesday at his press conference:
