Offensive Lineman Michael Uini Commits to Georgia Football
The offensive line is one of the most important units to a successful football team of any level. The ability to protect a quarterback and open up running lanes for running backs can make or break a team's offense. With that, it is no surprise that 4-star prospect Michael Uini has been heavily recruited by top programs all over the country.
Uini's recruitment ended today, however, as he announced that he would be continuing his football career at the University of Georgia for coach Kirby Smart and the back-to-back national champions. His commitment is a major addition to the Dawgs 2024 recruiting class which is already the No.1 ranked class in the entire nation.
Uini is a 4-star offensive lineman from Copperas Cove, TX., and is currently ranked as one of the top 200 players in the nation. The 6-foot-7 lineman took his official visit to Georgia last weekend.
Georgia has climbed atop all of the active recruiting rankings for the 2024 class, it seems inevitable they will finish at No. 1. The question now becomes, how historically highly will this class be rated? Do they have the chance to surpass Texas A&M's 2022 signing class?
