This Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs will end their lengthy offseason as they take on the UT-Martin Skyhawks in what will be their first game of the 2023 college football season. But while the offseason is officially over, Bulldog fans may have to wait a little longer to get in on the betting action.

The Bulldogs, who are trying to rewrite history and become the first team in modern college football to win three straight national titles have come under criticism for what many believe is a relatively easy schedule. And while their week one matchup shouldn't be much of a task. Sportsbooks seem to be having trouble placing a line on the game.

Vegasodds.com currently has the Bulldogs as -44.5 favorites over the Skyhawks. However, the majority of popular sportsbooks such as DraftKings, SIsportsbook, and others do not even have a line for this matchup.

This is not an extremely uncommon theme in games that are expected to be blowouts. Oftentimes, oddsmakers will not release lines for games between two opponents on wildly different skill levels simply because there is not enough data or evidence to create a number that oddsmakers are confident in.

Despite there currently being no betting line for this game. It would be a safe bet to say that Georgia should win this game handily.
