Bulldog's Injury Report Heading Into Spring Practice
The sport of football is one of the most physically demanding sports in the world. So much so that by the end of the season, many players require an extended period of time to recover from injuries during the offseason that can sometimes bleed into spring practice.
In the wake of spring practice starting this Tuesday, Kirby Smart spoke with the media today to provide an update on the injury status of numerous players.
Georgia Football Spring Practice Injury Update:
- Marvin Jones - (shoulder) OUT
- Joshua Miller - (shoulder) OUT
- Dan Jackson - (Foot) LIMITED
- Andrew Paul - (ACL) LIMITED
- Jalon Walker - (shoulder) OUT
- Earnest Greene Jr. - (back) IN
While the extensive list of injured Bulldogs can certainly be alarming since the practice has not even fully gotten underway. This is not the first time that players have missed extended time in spring before playing full seasons.
Bulldog fans should also note that Brock Bowers missed the spring of 2022 with a shoulder injury before winning the Mackey Award the following season. While Nakobe Dean also missed Spring camp before winning the Butkus Award for the 2021 season.
