CFB National Title Betting Odds; Have Georgia's Odds Taken a Hit?
The No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs have been the odds-on favorite in Vegas to three-peat as national champions from the moments odds have been available this season. Not that Vegas is the ultimate indicator, but the gambling community, despite the slow starts, injury report status, and numerous seemingly "questions" around this football team, Georgia has remained the national title favorite.
So, when Heisman contender and focal point of the offense, tight end Brock Bowers underwent tight rope surgery Monday — an operation that carries a typical 4 to 6-week recovery time — many wondered if Georgia could remain undefeated over the remaining SEC slate.
