Georgia Football: Former UGA Kicker signs with Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are notorious for going after any player who did not attend The University of Georgia. That's why it was a surprise to Bulldog fans when the Atlanta Falcons announced the signing of former UGA kicker, Blair Walsh.
The Falcons announced the signing of Walsh on Saturday.

After releasing long time kicker, Matt Bryant, the team decided to experiment with Giorgio Tavecchio in the preseason. Quite frankly, Tavecchio is not going to get it done for the Falcons, so it will be worth a shot to give Walsh a try.
With the starting spot up for grabs, how great of a story would it be if Walsh could rebound his career in the state of Georgia?
Through practice so far, it looks like Walsh is fitting the bill with his accuracy.

Walsh had a career field goal percentage of 73.8% in his time at Georgia and still remains as the all-time leading scorer in school history with 412 career points.
