University go Georgia Announces Date for G-Day

The date for Georgia's 2023 Spring Game (G-Day) has been set. Here are the details.

The University of Georgia has announced that its annual Spring scrimmage, also known as G-Day will be held on April 15th. Kickoff time will be announced at a later date.

The scrimmage will offer fans a first look of the 2023 team which is currently looking to complete a historic "3-peat" of national championships. With many holes to fill in the roster, G-Day will provide coaches and fans a good look at some new faces.  

The Bulldogs will open the regular season in Athens on September 2nd when they host the UT Martin Skyhawks. It will be the first of a 4 game home stretch in the regular season. SEC play will begin on September 16th against South Carolina.

Admission to G-Day is free to the public. However, seating will likely be limited due to renovations to Sanford Stadium currently taking place.

The NFL Network will have practice highlights and coverage from the Senior Bowl week leading up to the game as well.
