Dylan Raiola Talks First Day of Elite 11, Continuing to Build Georgia's 2024 Class

Georgia commit and the No. 1 player in the nation for the 2024 recruiting class Dylan Raiola talks about the first day of the Elite 11 competition, building Georgia's 2024 class.
In this story:

The Elite 11 is the nation's biggest quarterback competition, and that got kicked off this week out in Los Angeles, California. Georgia has two current commits competing at the event this year, with one being Ryan Puglisi and the other Dylan Raiola. There are a lot of eyes glued in to see how Raiola performs this week at the competition, and Dawgs Daily caught up with him after the first day

Raiola is rated as the number one overall player in the country and committed to Georgia during the month of May. The Bulldogs currently hold the best recruiting class for the 2024 cycle, and Raiola has played a major role in that. Landing the best player in the class also draws a lot of attention from other recruits as well, and Georgia has continued to ride the momentum of Raiola's commitment by signing some other big names shortly after as well.

Following the first day of the Elite 11 competition, Raiola talked about how he felt his first day went, what made him want to be a Bulldog, and how he is helping Georgia continue to piece together the class since committing. Here is everything he had to say:

In the interview, Raiola mentions that he is hoping that Georgia can maybe flip a wide receiver in the class and land another safety. One wide receiver that Georgia has continued to recruit despite being committed to Ohio State is Jeremiah Smith, the No. 1 wide receiver in the class. The Bulldogs have also been honing in on safety KJ Bolden out of Buford, Georgia, who is also rated as the best player at his position. Landing either of those players would certainly be another massive splash for Georgia this year.
