Marcus Washington Jr Enters the Transfer Portal

Georgia defensive back Marcus Washington Jr has entered the transfer portal.

The NCAA transfer portal opened back up on April 15, and with Georgia's spring scrimmage behind them, players are starting to hit the portal and look for a new home. The Bulldogs saw a multitude of players hit the portal following the 2022 season, and now the roster movement is back in action again.

Georgia defensive back Marcus Washington Jr has announced via Twitter that he will be entering the transfer portal with four years of eligibility left. The former Grovetown, Georgia product was rated as a four-star by 247 composite and was part of the 2022 class. Washington was the 18th-best defensive back and the 16th-best prospect in the state of Georgia.

Georgia's roster will likely remain influx until the second portal window closes at the end of May.
