BREAKING: Bear Alexander Plans to Enter the Portal
Moments before Georgia's spring scrimmage, they already had roster movement and action in the portal. Sophomore Bear Alexander has announced via his Instagram that he has plans to enter the transfer portal. The transfer portal window opened back up on April 15th since it closed earlier in the offseason.
As a true freshman, Alexander tallied five solo tackles and two sacks as a reserve player in 2022. One of his sacks came against TCU in the national championship game. He flashed as a true freshman and looked to be a player that would be competing for snaps this next season, but Alexander will now be looking for a new home outside of Athens.
The Bulldogs had a list of players enter the portal after the 2022 season wrapped up and Alexander now joins that list. With Georgia playing their spring scrimmage today, it is expected that more players will join Alexander and follow him into the transfer portal once spring practice warps up.
