Georgia has lost a commit in their 2024 recruiting class as wide receiver commit, Ny Carr has announced that he will be de-committing from the 2024 class.

Carr, a 6-foot, 170-pound receiver out of Moultrie, Georgia is currently the 65th-ranked player nationally and 12th-ranked player overall in the state of Georgia. His commitment to the Bulldogs came all the way back in July of 2022. However, Carr has been rumored as a potential de-committment for months. So much so that Carr himself took to social media back in the summer and re-affirmed his commitment to Georgia. That obviously has changed in the coming months.

Florida State is presumed to be the primary threat in the recruitment of Carr. His teammate and fellow former Georgia pledge, Landen Thomas flipped to Florida State back in the spring time. Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminole start reside only a few hours from Colquitt County High school where both top-100 targets reside.
