Georgia Football Posts "Back to School" Video
This Wednesday marked the first day of classes at the University of Georgia and as students returned to campus for the fall semester. The Georgia Football Twitter account posted a video welcoming students back and even reminding them about what it means to be a Bulldog.
The video was narrated by center Sedrick Van Pran and features numerous historic scenes from the University's campus. Throughout the video, Van Pran reminds us what makes the University of Georgia so special. He ends the video with the phrase "Better Never Rests". Head coach Kirby Smart first uttered a phrase during SEC Media Days in July.
The phrase will serve as the Bulldogs' mantra for the 2023 college football season, as the Dawgs are looking to avoid complacency and win a historic third straight national title. It also serves as a reminder to all, that those who are at the top of their game never stop working and striving to improve.
Smart, Van Pran and the rest of the Bulldogs will begin their quest for a three-peat on September 2. When they host the UT-Martin Skyhawks in Athens. Kickoff for this matchup is currently set for 6 p.m.
