As many Georgia players made the decision to end their chapter as a Bulldog over the last month, a long list of them are about to begin the next chapter in their careers. The NFL combine released their list of players that received an invite to participate in the event, and twelve Bulldogs received an invite.

A total of 319 total prospects received an invite to this year's combine and once again, Georgia is going to have another strong showing this year. Here is the list of Georgia players that received an invite:

  • Robert Beal Jr, OLB
  • Stetson Bennett, QB
  • Jalen Carter, DT
  • Kearis Jackson, WR
  • Broderick Jones, OL
  • Warren McClendon, OL
  • Kenny McIntosh, RB
  • Jack Podlesny, K
  • Kelee Ringo, DB
  • Christopher Smith, DB
  • Nolan Smith, DL
  • Darnell Washington, TE

After having 15 total players taken in the NFL draft last year, a draft record, there will be yet another long list of Georgia players representing the red and black at this year's draft.

Several of them have been preparing for the draft. Kelee Ringo has been seen working with former NFL star Richard Sherman. Warren McClendon, Christopher Smith, Kenny McIntosh and Jack Podlesny all were down in Mobile, Alabama for the Reese's Senior Bowl. Kearis Jackson and Robert Beal were out in Las Vegas for the Shrine Bowl.

Several Georgia players have had a lot of first-round buzz around their names in the mock drafts that have been released. Most notably, Jalen Carter has been tabbed as a potential number-one overall pick by several draft analysts. It would be the first time a school had back-to-back first-overall picks since Oklahoma put out Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray in consecutive years.

The NFL combine is a great opportunity for players to both solidify or increase their draft stock right before the draft officially kicked off. The litany of Bulldogs that participated in last year's combine put on a strong showing, and it was a major reason why they had five total players taken in the first round.

Georgia has really started to make a name for itself when it comes to producing NFL-ready talent, and this year's draft class for the Bulldogs looks to be a lot of the same.
