Jake Fromm has already cemented himself among the Aaron Murray and Matt Stafford territory of modern-day Georgia quarterbacks. And depending on the Georgia fan you encounter, he could be considered the greatest Georgia QB ever already

But, there's a reasonable chance Jake Fromm could go down as the greatest college quarterback of all time. Hear me out...

Fromm is currently 27-5 as a starter, with 8 regular-season games remaining on the schedule, all of which the Georgia Bulldogs will be favored, who's to say Fromm isn't sitting 35-5 going into the SEC Championship game.

The idea of Fromm chasing Kellen Moore's 50-3 record is not out of this world, Fromm is eligible for 20 remaining regular-season games, all but one he will be favored in.

Fromm will have to compete with NFL prospects like Tua, Justin Herbert, and even Jordan Love from Utah State in this year's draft class. And despite his resume, he could easily fall behind all four in terms of sheer talent and ceiling according to NFL scouts. (And that's not even including the love affair for Jacob Eason)

That being said, I think it's more than reasonable to say that Fromm is a four-year guy. Fromm is cut from the Tebow cloth. The kind of guy that lives to inspire others, the kind of guy that wakes up at 5:30 in the morning to read his Bible and his playbook, in that order.

Georgia QB, Jake Fromm

So, despite whether or not Georgia wins a national championship this year, their first since that beloved 1981 Sugar Bowl victory over the Irish. Whether or not he's a projected first-round pick, Jake Fromm has a chance to go down as the greatest college quarterback of all-time.

Georgia will be favored in every regular-season game they play the rest of the season and for that matter every game, apart from @Alabama week three next season, that Fromm is eligible for. Who's to say that Fromm doesn't go 19-1 over his remaining 20 regular-season games he's eligible for? That places him the second. Not counting post season play (a potential of 6 wins).

Jake Fromm isn't the type of guy that cares about the accolades. He doesn't care whether or not he goes down as the greatest college QB of all time. That being said, he's also not the type of guy that's going to pass up an opportunity to spend another year as a Georgia Bulldog for some decent draft evaluation.

I'm as pro-player as they come. These guys deserve every dollar they have and are projected to earn, and they should get it ASAP. That being said, I don't think any of that matters to Jake Fromm. Give him millions, if it doesn't come with collective success, it's useless.

That is why Jake Fromm will be back at Georgia next season.
