Georgia Looks to Break Tennessee's Home Win Streak This Saturday

This Saturday, Georgia Bulldogs have a chance to not only extend their own win streak. But to end their opponents' as well.

The Georgia Bulldogs are on a quest to finish their third straight undefeated regular season and win their 28th game in a row. But before they reach those goals, they must defeat the Tennessee Volunteers—a team on a streak of their own.

The Volunteers, while they have struggled on the road at times have not lost a home game since the 2021 season. A streak that spans 14 games and includes the likes of Florida, Alabama, and other notable opponents.

Ironically enough, the last team to defeat Tennessee at home was the Georgia Bulldogs. The Bulldogs squashed the Volunteers in their 2021 matchup by a score of 41-17 and would finish out their 2021 SEC slate with a perfect 8-0 record. Georgia would then go on to win its first national title in 41 years and continue its dominance into the 2022 season.

Despite the vast differences in success these two teams have had this season, many experts believe that Saturday's matchup against Tennessee will be the Bulldogs' toughest test of the season. Given the Volunteers' impressive home win streak and relatively low betting line. That might just be the case.
