WATCH: Glenn Schumann Press Conference
Georgia defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann spoke to the media on Tuesday. He talks about the upcoming season and much more.
During his media availability, Schumann discussed why he made the decision to return to the University of Georgia for the 2023 season and not pursue a career at the NFL level. Here is what he had to say:
"When you're successful, opportunities come for everybody. Opportunities come for players, opportunities come for coaches. It was an honor to be considered and to be reached out to by them. I appreciated it. That's about how I went through that process, and I am glad to be where I am... There's a lot of ways to define the quality of life. One, you're responsible as a husband and a father to do what's best for you and your family and their well being. My family is extremely happy here. Two, quality in this life is generally tied to winning, and I have been very fortunate When you look at it, there's been a lot of people who have been extremely happy, and they tried to be happier, and they wound up miserable... There's a lot of reasons to still be at Georgia."
