Halftime Report: Bulldogs Tied With Tigers 10-10

The first 30 minutes of gameplay are in the books. Here is what has happened so far in "The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry"

The Georgia Bulldogs are currently playing in their first road game of the season as they do battle with the Auburn Tigers as a part of "The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry".

At halftime, the Bulldogs are knotted up with the Tigers by a score of 10-10. An interception by Carson Beck in the first quarter led to an Auburn touchdown, giving the Tigers 10-0. The Bulldogs would then respond with a touchdown of their own making the score 7-10.

The Bulldogs scored a field goal in their next offensive drive to tie the game up 10-10. A turnover on downs in the red zone would prevent the Tigers from taking the lead before the half. With 1:18 left on the clock, the Bulldogs were unsuccessful in moving the ball and punted it away to the Tigers for the half.

It hasn't been the prettiest of halves so far for the No.1 ranked team in the country. A handful of missed assignments and missed opportunities have put Kirby Smart and his team in a rather unexpected position. But there is still more than enough time for the Bulldogs to exert their dominance and win this football game handily. Georgia is set to receive the ball for the second half.
