PREVIEW: What to Expect From SEC Media Days

The SEC will hold its annual three-day media event next week in Nashville, TN, ahead of the 2023 college football season.

The Georgia Bulldogs and the rest of the SEC will be in Nashville, TN, this coming week to address the media and meet before the 2023 football season kicks off. s. Teams will begin to arrive Sunday, July 16th, into Monday morning, with media availability starting the same day. Here's a quick preview of what to expect.

From 11:30 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Monday, July 17th, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey will kick off the four-day event, followed by Brian Kelly, Jayden Daniels, Josh Williams, and Mekhi Wingo. From 1:45 p.m. to 4:55 p.m. Texas A&M and Missouri will be speaking to the media, with an hour break in between. 

Tuesday, July 18th, will start at 8:15 a.m. when SEC Coordinator of Football Officials, John McDaid, will speak to the media until 9 a.m. Following him, Vanderbilt will speak, and then Georgia will enter the room. Kirby Smart will enter the room with Brock Bowers, Sedrick Van Pran Granger, and Kamari Lassiter and lead the way until a break. Following them, Auburn and Mississippi State will be the last two teams to speak to the media on Tuesday. 

Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, and Kentucky will have the opportunity to speak to the media Wednesday, July 19th, from 9 a.m. until 4:10 p.m. During that time, Dr. Katie O'Neil, the SEC Chief Medical Advisor, will speak to the media from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Tennessee will be the last teams to speak to the media Thursday, July 20th, from 9 a.m. until 2:15 p.m.

There are questions surrounding the Georgia football team ahead of the 2023 season, but Kirby Smart and his players will be well prepared for whatever questions come their way this coming SEC Media Days.
