Jalen Carter Scheduled to Visit With Seahawks on Tuesday

Georgia defensive lineman Jalen Carter is scheduled to meet with the Seahawks this Tuesday

Jalen Carter has been one of the most recognizeable names in this year's NFL Draft, for some reasons good and others bad. The highly talented defensive tackle from Georgia was originally predeicted to be first pick of the draft. But after Carter was arrested for his involvement in January 15th's tragedy and the Bears traded away their pick, Carter's stock took a massive hit.

But despite Carter's recent "fall from grace", the former Bulldog still appears to be on the radar of a handful of teams with a top-10 pick. One of those being the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks currently hold the fifth and twentyith pick in this year's NFL draft and would benefit greatly from Carter's precense after finishing 30th in the leauge in run defense last season.

While Carter's draft future is one of the more unclear parts of this season's NFL Draft, the 6-foot-3, 300 pound defensive lineman possesses a talent and skillset that undoubtedly will make him a first round pick. Regardless as to where that may be.
