Kenny McIntosh Selected by the Seattle Seahawks
Kenny McIntosh was taken off the board by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round. McIntosh joins an extensive list of 14 other Bulldogs running backs of having the honor of hearing their name called during the draft day since 2000. McIntosh will also be the sixth running back drafted during Kirby Smart's tenure at Georgia.
A former 4-star prospect from University School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., McIntosh joined RBU during the 2019 season. Sitting behind D'Andre Swift, James Cook, and Zamir White his freshman year, McIntosh was able to watch all three of his former teammates get drafted into the NFL.
Finishing his four seasons with Georgia rushing for 1,582 yards, 14 touchdowns, and two national championships. McIntosh also showed off his ability in the passing game, receiving 746 yards and three touchdowns in his four years there. He also helped lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back national titles and an SEC Championship in 2022.
McIntosh played a versatile role in Georgia's offense. He not only has the ability to make big plays in the run game but in the passing game as well. He has great hands for a running back, and that is a skill set that will serve him well in the professional football league. He may not have been the highest-ranked running back in this year's class, but McIntosh has the potential to really impact an offense and become a meaningful contributor.
